A LEADING barber from County Durham has used his 30 years of experience to create a new product range to take the pain out of shaving.
Iain Kane, who runs his own barbershop at Langley Park near Durham, is renowned across the UK for his barbering skills, but for many years has been unable to find the perfect products to use on his customers.
But after working closely with a clinical aromatherapist, he has devised his own blend of natural, therapeutic-grade oils and balms which banish the skin irritation, redness and soreness caused by shaving.
Village Barber Shaving Oil and Aftershave Balm are paraben-free and have already been a huge global hit, with orders from as far afield as Russia and the USA.
“Many men suffer with a range of problems when using conventional shaving soaps, gels and foams,” he explained.
“I could never find a product that I was completely happy with so I worked to create my own blend which became such a hit with my customers I decided to sell it commercially.”
The range of products include individual bottles of Oil and Balm, a Gift Set containing both products and a Travel Pack size kit which can be taken on a plane as hand luggage.
Prices start at £17.95 for Shaving Oil and the range is available from the Village Barber website
