Reviewed: The Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil

by Zoe Burn on July 24, 2012

PERFECT for this time of year, The Body Shop Beautifying Oil could possibly be the best new launch this summer.

They are designed for use on body, face and hair and provide instant hydration with a shimmering finish.

Gently scented and available in 11 of The Body Shop’s trademark fragrances, these oils banish dry skin, restore softness and nourish.

It’s all thanks to their special blend of three lightweight nut oils – kukui, sweet almond and Community Fair Trade marula.

I’ve been trying the Moringa oil, and I have to admit I love it.

Unlike some oils it’s dry – no greasiness or wetness – and it absorbs straight into the skin. It’s ideal for wearing after you’ve been in the sun all day as it just adds a bit more moisture.

I like way it leaves your skin very soft without any oiliness, and it dries down to a lovely sweet but gentle fragrance which lasts several hours.

And it’s great for the legs – use it instead of your normal leg oil for a nice shimmer which isn’t too wet looking and doesn’t stop you sitting down or rub off onto your clothes.

Another nice thing about the Moringa fragrance is that it’s just a little bit summery. You can put this on, close your eyes and imagine you’re somewhere hot and tropical.

Beautifying Oil costs £9/100ml and is available at The Body Shop stores across the North East.
